Occupational Safety And Health (Safety And Health Officer Regulation 1997)

The appointment of competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO)in certain industries is a requirement under Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994. This requirement has been reinforced by the Occupational Safety & Health (Safety & Health Officer) Regulation 1997 [P.U.(A)315] which come into force on 22 August 1997.

In line with CONSIST Safety Policy and Business Vision, CONSIST has initiated this SGO course to compliment the government effordt in ensuring a safe and health working enviroment

Duration: 20 days (Full time/Part time)
Entry Requirement :

At lease SPM/MCE/SPMV year 2000 and above with 3 credit in
English,Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematic
or
At lease SPM/MCE/SPMV Grade 3 (Year 1999 and below)
or
Rank Sergeant and above of MAF & Police (PDRM) or personnel with minimum of 10 years
service with MAF/PDRM

i. Individuals who intend to become Safety and Health Practitioners

iii. interested individuals who would like to become Safety and Health Officer
